U15s Lose But Reach Final at Galway Cup - Ipswich Town News
Town’s U15s lost 1-0 to Dublin side Cherry Orchard in their final group game at the Galway Cup this afternoon, but still topped the group and face the same opposition in a rematch in Saturday afternoon’s final.
The Blues youngsters, whose trip has been sponsored by Source One Ltd, Office Angels and David Moat, had previously beaten a Republic of Ireland development squad 2-0 and Leeds United 1-0.
Town are regulars at the tournament, which is staged at the Salthill Devon club, and won the Elite U15s competition which they are currently taking part in back in 2007.
