Town's U23s were beaten 2-1 by Sheffield United in their season opener at the Blades’ Shirecliffe training ground on Monday afternoon.
Kundai Benyu netted for the Blues early in the second half, equalising a penalty converted by home skipper Ben Whiteman before the break. Louis Reed won the game for the Blades.
