We Can Stay Up - Stewart - Ipswich Town News
Marcus Stewart says that Town can still stay up despite the currently precarious position. The striker was a second half sub on Saturday and must feel that his second Premiership season has been a mere shadow of his first.
The striker said: "We cannot afford to sit around and mope now. We have to go out and try to get something from all our remaining games.
"Our corresponding fixtures against these sides last season were pretty good.
"We won at Anfield, drew against United at Portman Road and only lost by the odd goal against Arsenal at Highbury, so we have to take heart from those performances and really go for it again.
"Naturally, there is going to be more to play for this time, but I do feel as if the pressure will be off us because the top three are all going for the title and are expected to just turn up and win."
