Murphy in Ireland Squad - Ipswich Town News
Town striker Daryl Murphy has been named in the Republic of Ireland squad for a friendly against Oman and their opening World Cup qualifier against Serbia.
Ireland take on Oman at the Aviva Stadium, Dublin on Wednesday 31st August before travelling to Belgrade to take on the Serbians on Monday 5th September.
Murphy, 33, has now won 23 full caps but is still to score his first international goal. Ex-Town skipper Jon Walters is also in the squad.
