Three Wins Out of Three For U18s - Ipswich Town News
Town’s U18s made it three wins from their first three games as they defeated Cardiff City 2-1 at the University of South Wales this morning.
Midfielder Tristan Nydam put the young Blues in front in the first half, the Welshmen hit back after the break but Flynn Downes (pictured) secured the three points with a freekick.
Town’s U23s are next in action at Playford Road on Monday afternoon when they face Millwall (KO 1pm).
Meanwhile, Town keeper Michael Crowe was an unused sub as the Wales U21s were beaten 4-0 by Denmark at Wrexham's Racecourse Ground last night.
Crowe will be looking to make his U21 international debut when the side coached by ex-Blues midfielder Geraint Williams face Luxembourg at Bangor on Tuesday.
