Strong U23s Side Facing Millwall - Ipswich Town News
Town have named a strong side for this afternoon’s U23s game against Millwall at Playford Road with Teddy Bishop, Leon Best, Conor Grant and Luke Varney all starting (KO 1pm).
Grant, who also featured in last week's 2-1 second string friendly defeat to Southend, is fit again after a groin problem, while Best, Bishop and Varney are working on their match fitness.
Gerard Nash’s team are still looking for their first points of the season having lost their opening three games of the season.
U23s: Marsden, Emmanuel, Digby, C Smith, Fowler, Webber, McDonnell, Grant, Varney, Bishop, Best. Subs: Wright, Blanchfield, McLoughlin, Patterson.
