Midfielder Giles Coke will return to action when the U23s take on Barnsley at Oakwell this afternoon (KO 1pm, free entry).
The 30-year-old, who manager Mick McCarthy has made available for transfer, has been sidelined since February and underwent knee surgery towards the end of last season.
Also involved against the Tykes will be Andre Dozzell, Adam McDonnell, Michael Crowe, Ben Morris and Shane McLoughlin, who scored what ultimately proved to be the winning goal in Monday’s 2-1 home victory over Millwall, the U23 side’s first three points of the season.
