Ex-Carlisle and Tottenham Full-Back on Trial - Ipswich Town News
Former Carlisle and Tottenham defender Alex McQueen has joined the Blues on trial and is in the U23s team facing Barnsley at Oakwell this afternoon (free entry, KO 1pm).
McQueen, a 6ft 2½in tall right-sided full-back or central midfielder, is a free agent having turned down a deal with the Cumbrians after a successful season at Brunton Park in which he made 20 starts and six sub appearances without scoring.

While at Spurs McQueen, who was linked with Premier League AFC Bournemouth over the summer, will have worked with Blues academy director Bryan Klug.
