Sir Elton John will play a concert at Portman Road on Saturday 17th June 2017, the club have announced.

The 69-year-old former Watford chairman previously played to a crowd of around 23,000 at Town in June 2004.

"I’m sure it will be a fantastic occasion for the thousands who will be at Portman Road on the night.”

The last Portman Road concert was Barry Manilow’s appearance in 2014, while the likes of P!nk, REM, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Neil Diamond and Rod Stewart have also played at the stadium over the years.

Tickets for this summer's concert go on general sale from 10am on Friday 23rd September, however, Town season ticket holders and club members can buy theirs from 10am on Wednesday 21st September.

Tickets will be available from Ticketmaster and other agencies, while details of how to buy accessible tickets and hospitality can be found on the club website.
