U18s Face Barnsley - Ipswich Town News
Town’s U18s are in action against Barnsley at Playford Road in a Saturday afternoon game rearranged from the opening day of the season (KO 1pm).
The match was rescheduled as the Blues youngsters were playing in and winning a tournament in Holland.
Having won their first three Professional Development League Two South games, Alan Lee’s side were beaten 3-0 at Huddersfield in their most recent home match a fortnight ago and were unfortunate only to pick up a point at Birmingham last week when they drew 1-1, Albert Wilton (pictured) netting the Blues’ goal. They are currently third in the table.
Town’s U23s are next in action against Bolton Wanderers at the Macron Stadium on Monday evening (KO 7pm).
