Marsden Saves Penalty on Leiston Debut - Ipswich Town News
On-loan keeper Jacob Marsden marked his Leiston debut by saving a penalty and keeping a clean sheet in the Ryman League Premier Division leaders’ 4-0 hammering of Met Police at Victory Road this afternoon.
Marsden, 19, who joined Leiston on a youth loan until January yesterday, stopped Elliott Charles’s spotkick with his side already 3-0 in front.
Elsewhere, Joe Robinson played the full 90 minutes as his loan club Boston United won 1-0 away at Altrincham in the Vanarama National League North.
Academy centre-half Travis Cole helped his loan side Lowestoft Town to a 1-1 draw at Wingate and Finchley, also in the Ryman League Premier Division.
