Stockwell and Wright at The Dove Tonight - Ipswich Town News
Mick Stockwell and Jermaine Wright will be the guests at the Supporters Club’s first Legends on the Town event of the season at the Dove Street Inn, St Helens Street, Ipswich this evening (from 7.30pm). Entry is available on the door for £5.
Stockwell is a member of Town's Hall of Fame having made more than 600 appearances - scoring 44 goals - over a 15-year period from 1985-2000, while Jermaine Wright made over 200 appearances and scored 11 goals between 1999 and 2004.
The evening will look back at 20 consecutive Town seasons (even more if you include Mick Stockwell's three years in the youth team), as well as gaining an insight into the duo’s views on the modern game, and the Blues’ start to the season.
Food will be available with a discount for Town season-ticket holders on non-barbecue items.
The next Legends event is on Thursday 13th October at the Gladstone Arms, Combs Ford, Stowmarket, where the guests will be John Wark and Ian Marshall.
