Former Town keeper Richard Wright has been left out of the England squad for the pre-World Cup game against Paraguay at Anfield next Wednesday.

Kieron Dyer is included in Sven-Goran Eriksson's squad, but Wright's omission must come as a big blow to a player who has had a difficult time since leaving Portman Road for Arsenal last summer.
