Academy chiefs Bryan Klug and Lee O’Neill have taken on new roles at Playford Road.
Klug, who returned to the Blues youth set-up in 2012 as academy manager, will be the head of coaching and player development, while O’Neill will be the academy manager with the structure of academies continually evolving.
Klug’s new role will see him involved more on the training ground, assessing the development of young players and also responsible for the progress of full-time and part-time coaching staff.
In his new position O’Neill, who has been Klug’s assistant for two years, will focus on the administrative side of running an academy.
Town currently run a Category Two academy, which is currently in the process of being audited. Longer-term the Blues still aim for Category One.
