Trio Could Win Caps - Ipswich Town News

Christophe Berra, Monty Patterson and Michael Crowe could all win international caps later today.

Berra and Scotland take on Slovakia in a World Cup qualifier in Trnava (Sky Sports Two from 7.30pm, KO 7.45pm) looking to bounce back after Saturday's disappointing 1-1 home draw with Lithuania.

The 31-year-old, an unused sub in that game, will be hoping to add to his 33 full caps and three international goals.

Patterson’s New Zealand are continuing their USA tour with a friendly against the hosts in Washington DC overnight.

The 19-year-old won his sixth full cap as a substitute in Saturday’s 2-1 defeat to Mexico in another friendly in Nashville.

Crowe, 20, will be looking to make his Wales U21s debut when the side coached by former Blues midfielder Geraint Williams faces Armenia in their final Euro 2017 qualifying group game in Yerevan this afternoon.

The Welsh youngsters have no chance of reaching the finals but could finish third in their group if they win tonight and results elsewhere go in their favour.
