Change of Mind for Naylor - Ipswich Town News
Richard Naylor seems to have undergone a swift change of mind about staying at Barnsley after the Oakwell side were relegated. The striker says he doesn't want to play Second Division football at the moment and in any case the Tykes were only interested in him if they avoided relegation.
Naylor said: "From what I can gather the proviso on whether they tried to buy me or not depended on whether they stayed up. So it won't happen now and, even if they were interested, I'm not looking to play in the Second Division at this stage."
In the Barnsley programme for last weekend's game with Norwich Naylor was quoted as saying he was keen to join the Tykes.
