Town striker David McGoldrick has been named in the provisional Republic of Ireland squad for their World Cup qualifier against Austria later this month.
The side led by Martin O'Neill and his assistant, former Town boss Roy Keane, face the Austrians in Vienna on Saturday 12th November.
McGoldrick, who has previously won four caps, so far without scoring, missed out on a place at Euro 2016 having been named in the provisional squad for their pre-tournament friendlies.
Also in the squad are former Town skipper Jonathan Walters and ex-Blues midfielder Conor Hourihane, but Daryl Murphy isn't involved having struggled with a calf injury since his move to Newcastle.
Dundalk winger Daryl Horgan, who was recently watched by Blues scouts, receives his first international call-up.
