Southern League Programme Up for Auction - Ipswich Town News
A programme from Town’s Southern League game against Bath City at Portman Road on February 19th 1938, the Blues’ final season as a non-league side, will go under the hammer at Martlesham auctioneers Lockdales on November 19th.
At the end of the 1937/38 season, Scott Duncan’s Town were elected into Football League Third Division South with Gillingham dropping out. The lot has a guide price of £80 to £90.
Back in the day, reserve games at Portman Road also justified a full match programme.
The programme from the Town versus Tottenham Hotspur Football Combination match from September 8th 1951 is also included in the auction with a £20 to £25 catalogue guide price.
