Town youngster Monty Patterson came on as a 60th minute sub as New Zealand beat New Caledonia 2-0 in a World Cup qualifier in Auckland overnight.
Melbourne Victory man Marco Rojas scored in the 42nd and 72nd minutes for the All Whites.
