Lawrence Wins Cap But Wales Draw - Ipswich Town News
Blues loanee Tom Lawrence came on as a 68th minute sub as Wales drew 1-1 with Serbia in their World Cup qualifier at the Cardiff City Stadium.
Gareth Bale put the Welsh in front on the half hour but Newcastle United striker Aleksandar Mitrovic equalised on 86, seconds after the Real Madrid man had hit the post at the other end. The result leaves Wales third in their qualification group.
Lawrence, on loan at Portman Road for the season from Leicester City, was winning his fifth full cap.
Jonny Williams, on a season-long loan with Town from Crystal Palace, was an unused substitute.
