Town Ball 20 in FA Cup Draw - Ipswich Town News

Town will be ball number 20 in the draw for the third round of the Emirates FA Cup, which takes place on Monday at 7.10pm live on BBC2 and BT Sport.

Steven Gerrard and Ian Wright will be the men charged with picking out the ties at the BT Tower during BT Sport’s coverage of the Oldham Athletic-Lincoln City second round tie. Third round ties will be played between January 6th and 9th.

Last season the Blues were beaten at the third round stage by League Two Portsmouth - featuring Adam Webster - after a replay. Town boss Mick McCarthy is yet to win an FA Cup tie as Blues manager.

Town's last FA Cup win was the 2-1 victory at Blackpool at the third round stage in January 2010 under Roy Keane’s management.
