Painter on Life's a Pitch - Ipswich Town News

Darts star Kevin Painter will be talking to the regulars on Life’s a Pitch at lunchtime on Saturday on BBC Radio Suffolk (midday to 2pm). Host Mark Murphy will also be joined by legend-in-residence Kevin Beattie, New Tractorboy and TWTD’s Phil Ham, who will be at the DW Stadium ahead of Town's game against Wigan.

Painter beat Jamie Caven 3-1 in his first round tie at the PDC World Darts Championship on Thursday evening and could face Phil 'The Power' Taylor in the second round, a repeat of their famous 2004 final in which 'The Artist', a Sir Bobby Robson Stand season ticket holder, was narrowly defeated 7-6.

WHAT A FINISH to kick off match 1 of this #WHDarts 2017!
