On-loan defender Gary Croft scored for Cardiff City on Saturday as his side beat Tranmere 1-0. Cardiff finished fourth in the Second Division.

The Bluebirds now face Stoke in the play-off semi-final, with the Britannia Ground hosting the first leg next Sunday.

Croft has scored one goal for Town, a deflected effort as Town beat Manchester City 2-1 at Portman Road in 1999.
