Don't Give Up - Sheepy - Ipswich Town News
Town chairman David Sheepshanks has said he has not given up on Town surviving and praised the spirit on show in the pitch and the supporters off it at Highbury on Sunday.
The chairman called for a Highbury-like atmosphere when Middlesbrough come to Town on Wednesday night: "Our support at Highbury was great and the Arsenal fans almost willed that first goal for their team. Hopefully we can generate such an atmosphere on Wednesday at Portman Road when we play Middlesbrough."
"We have not given up, far from it. There is no way we'll do that. We are out to give it one last fling. This was a much improved performance.
"There was so much to be pleased about in our team in terms of the work-rate, determination and spirit. We have to believe we can still survive. It can still be done and we have to cling to that hope."
