Currie, Deller and the Fortuna Blues on Life's a Pitch Live from Portman Road - Ipswich Town News

Ex-Blues winger Darren Currie, former darts world champion Keith Deller and the Fortuna Düsseldorf fans will be with the regulars on Saturday's Life’s a Pitch, which comes live from the FanZone on BBC Radio Suffolk (midday to 2pm). Host Mark Murphy will also be joined by legend-in-residence Kevin Beattie, New Tractorboy and TWTD’s Phil Ham.

Currie, 42, is now the assistant manager of Dagenham and Redbridge.

Deller, the winner of the Embassy World Professional Darts Championship in 1983, will be appearing with another Town-supporting darts star Kevin Painter at the now annual Town Legends of Darts next month.

The fans of Fortuna Düsseldorf have now been making trips to watch the Blues for 11 years and more than 100 are on their way over for Saturday's match.

Iain Finch from Boots2Africa will also be speaking about their first ever preloved football boot donation event at Town in the FanZone prior to Saturday's match.
