Keeper Crowe Returns to Action for U23s at Cardiff - Ipswich Town News
Keeper Michael Crowe will return to action when Town’s U23s face Cardiff City at the Cardiff City Stadium this evening (KO 7pm).
Wales U21 international Crowe, 21, (pictured above left with Joe Robinson) has been sidelined since damaging ankle ligaments in the 2-2 U23s draw at Colchester in October.
Defender Robinson is also included in a young squad along with New Zealand international forward Monty Patterson and midfielder James Blanchfield.
Elsewhere, the U18 side’s game against Millwall at their Bromley training ground on Saturday morning succumbed to the weather.
Meanwhile, academy head of education and welfare Matt Clarke is joining Premier League champions Leicester City’s youth set-up in a similar capacity.
Clarke, who joined the Town academy in September 2013 having held the same position at Coventry City, is set to continue in his other role as U21s coach at AFC Sudbury.
