Nemesis Nugent Ruled Out of Portman Road Trip - Ipswich Town News
Town nemesis David Nugent has been ruled out of tomorrow’s visit to Portman Road by his new club Derby County. The 31-year-old joined the Rams from Middlesbrough for £2.5 million earlier in the transfer window.
Nugent, who is suffering with a knee injury, has scored 15 goals in 15 games against the Blues and 10 in eight games at Portman Road for Preston, Portsmouth, Leicester, Middlesbrough and the England U21s in a game against Moldova in 2006.
"It's still a bit too soon for him but we hope to have him back training by the end of the week,” Derby boss Steve McClaren confirmed.
