New Signing Samuel Will Be a Frustrated Watcher - Ipswich Town News
New Blues loan signing Dominic Samuel admits he'll be frustrated watching from the stands when Town take on his parent club Reading at Portman Road tomorrow. The 22-year-old moved to Town on deadline day on a deal to the end of the season but is ineligible against the Royals.
"It’s unfortunate I can't play on Saturday because I'm ready to go and I can’t wait to get out there,” Samuel told the club site.
"I hate watching football, I just want to play, but I think it will be good for me to be watching how both teams get on.
"Obviously right now I'm here on loan at Ipswich so I want the best for the club, but I also want the best for Reading. I’ll just have to watch and see how the game goes.
"The gaffer and all of the coaches have welcomed me into the club and I feel comfortable here already. I’m just ready to get going now.”
