Smith and New Boys in U23s Facing Watford at Portman Road - Ipswich Town News

Tommy Smith and recent signings Kieffer Moore, Danny Rowe and Dominic Samuel are all included in the squad for this evening’s U23s game against Watford at Portman Road (KO 7pm), while Teddy Bishop and Myles Kenlock could also be involved.

Centre-half Smith will be playing his first match as he continues his recovery from the back surgery he underwent in September.

Winger Rowe, signed from Macclesfield, and striker Samuel, on loan from Reading, will be making their first appearances in Town shirts, while fellow frontman Moore, who has played two games from the bench for the senior side having joined from Forest Green Rovers earlier in the transfer window, will be making his U23s debut.

Bishop has played the last two U23s games having overcome his ankle injury and came off the bench late on during Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Reading.

Kenlock is on the way back after the calf injury he suffered at QPR at the start of January.

Entry to the Cobbold Stand is available on the gate at £3 for adults and £1 for concessions with season ticket holders admitted for free.
