No Bigger Game - Sheepy - Ipswich Town News

Town chairman David Sheepshanks says that Saturday's Portman Road clash with Manchester United is the biggest game in Town's history. Town are now just two points behind Sunderland as sides enter their final games.

Sheepshanks said: "Our match with Manchester United on Saturday night is the biggest game in our entire history."

"The United match now becomes a game of Cup Final importance and more. What an occasion it could be and who's to say we can't win it?"

Sheepshanks was impressed with Wednesday's display against Middlesbrough: "The team gave their all and showed tremendous grit, character and determination. This result was a mighty relief to all of us and what a night it could be on Saturday if we can do it against United."

The Town chairman also emphasised the role a sell-out Portman Road crowd can have as the Blues chase a vital three points.
