Strong U23s Side Facing Palace - Ipswich Town News
Tommy Smith, Luke Hyam, Teddy Bishop, Andre Dozzell and Danny Rowe will all be involved with the U23s when they take on Crystal Palace at Dulwich Hamlet’s Champion Hill Stadium this afternoon (KO 1pm).
Smith will be playing his third U23s match as he continues his comeback from the back operation he underwent in September, while Hyam, who has missed the whole season so far with a knee injury, will be making his second appearance for Gerard Nash’s side, having played 65 minutes of last week’s 0-0 draw at West Brom.
Also starting against the Eagles are defender Paul Digby and striker Ben Morris.
U23s: Crowe, Fowler, Woolfenden, Hyam, Digby, T Smith, Rowe, Bishop, Morris, Dozzell, McLoughlin. Subs: C Smith, Hayes, McDonnell, Blanchfield, McKendry.
