Coke to Be Released - Ipswich Town News
Town boss Mick McCarthy has confirmed that midfielder Giles Coke will be released at the end of the season, the 30-year-old having missed the whole of the campaign with knee problems which have required a number of operations.
"He’s injured, he won’t be involved and he’ll be released at the end of the season,” McCarthy said.
Coke joined the Blues on a free transfer in the summer of 2015 after being released by Sheffield Wednesday having impressed during a trial, but made only four starts - one in the Championship - and nine sub appearances during 2015/16 without scoring.
