Morris Joins Woking on Loan - Ipswich Town News
Town’s England U18s striker Ben Morris has joined Vanarama National League side Woking on a youth loan.
Colchester-born Morris, 17, has been a regular scorer for the Blues’ U23s this season but despite having been on the first-team bench on a number of occasions is yet to make his senior debut.
Town have sent a number of young players out on loan to gain experience with the Cards in recent seasons including Jack Marriott, Michael Crowe and Joe Robinson.
Second-year scholar Morris, who could make his debut in this afternoon's home game against Borehamwood this afternoon, signed a two-year pro contract after turning 17 in July last year.
