Three Changes as Blues Face Barnsley - Ipswich Town News
Town boss Mick McCarthy has made three changes to his side ahead of today’s game away against his hometown club Barnsley with Emyr Huws back in midfield after his hamstring problem and wing-backs Jordan Spence and Myles Kenlock both returning to the XI.
Grant Ward drops to the bench, as does Tommy Smith - with Jonas Knudsen moving back to the left of the three-man central defence - while Josh Emmanuel misses out on a place in the 18.
Marley Watkins, who the Blues made an offer for last summer and manager Mick McCarthy hasn’t ruled out moving for again, starts for the Tykes.
