McGoldrick in Provisional Ireland Squad - Ipswich Town News

Town striker David McGoldrick has been named in a 39-man provisional Republic of Ireland squad for their World Cup qualifier against Wales and friendly with Iceland later this month.

Ireland take on the Welsh, whose squad is likely to include Blues loanees Tom Lawrence and Emyr Huws when it is announced on Thursday, on Friday 24th March and then the Icelanders four days later, both at the Aviva Stadium.

McGoldrick will be looking to add to his five caps and score his first international goal.

The Ireland squad, which also includes former Blues Daryl Murphy, Jonathan Walters and Conor Hourihane, will meet up on Sunday 19th March in Dublin.
