Lawrence in Wales Squad - Ipswich Town News

Town top scorer Tom Lawrence has been named in the Wales squad for their World Cup qualifier against the Republic of Ireland at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Friday 24th March.

Jonny Williams and Emyr Huws both miss out, the on-loan Crystal Palace man having only just returned to training after a shoulder problem and then a hamstring niggle and the loanee from Cardiff due to a hamstring problem.

Lawrence, who is on loan for the season from Leicester, has previously won five full caps.

Town striker David McGoldrick was named in the provisional Ireland squad for the match earlier in the week.
