U18s Face Leeds - Ipswich Town News

Town’s U18s are in action against Leeds United at Playford Road on Saturday morning (KO 11am).

The young Blues will be looking to get back to winning ways having followed three consecutive wins with three successive defeats.

Meanwhile, Town’s U16s will be facing Norwich City at Portman Road in their annual Hospital Cup fixture on Thursday 20th April (KO 7pm).

The Hospital Cup, a pre-season staple at first-team level for many years until 1990, was revived as an U16s match played between the Blues and Canaries two years ago when the Norfolk side ran out 3-0 winners at Portman Road. Last year the Norfolk side won 2-1 at Carrow Road.

Town’s U23s are next in action against Crewe Alexandra at Portman Road on Monday evening (KO 7pm). Defender Steven Taylor is expected to make his comeback after his hamstring injury.
