Dozzell Wins Cap in England U18s Victory - Ipswich Town News

Midfielder Andre Dozzell played the full 90 minutes and won his seventh England U18s cap as the Young Lions beat Saudi Arabia 2-0 in the first of their three friendlies at the Aspire Sports Village in Doha, Qatar this evening. Fellow Blue Tristan Nydam was an unused sub.

Everton’s Morgan Feeney opened the scoring in the fifth minute and Arsenal’s Edward Nketiah netted a debut goal to seal the win just before the hour.

The squad is next in action against the hosts - who they were initially down to be facing today - on Friday and then again on Monday with Nydam likely to be handed his England U18s debut - and first international appearance at any level - at some stage during those two games.
