Berra Unused Sub as Scotland Win - Ipswich Town News
Blues defender Christophe Berra was an unused sub as Scotland beat Slovenia 1-0 in this evening’s World Cup qualifier at Hampden Park.
Suffolk-born former Norwich striker Chris Martin, who is on loan at Fulham from Derby, netted the game’s only goal with two minutes left on the clock having come on as a sub.
Berra, 32, who remains on 35 caps and three international goals, was left out of the side despite having started the 1-1 friendly draw with Canada in midweek and the previous qualifier, the 3-0 loss to England in November.
