Duo Could Win England U18s Caps - Ipswich Town News
Young midfielders Andre Dozzell and Tristan Nydam could win England U18s caps this afternoon when the Young Lions face Qatar in their third and final friendly at the Aspire Sports Village in Doha.
Dozzell, 17, started the first game, a 2-0 win against Saudi Arabia, then Nydam, also 17, made his England debut as part of the XI which beat the hosts 2-1 on Friday, although came off with an injury just after half-time. His Town team-mate came off the bench to pick up his eighth U18s cap.
Meanwhile, the Blues U23s are in action at Huddersfield’s John Smith’s Stadium this afternoon (KO 2pm).
