Town have sent a young U23s squad to Huddersfield for this afternoon’s game at the John Smith’s Stadium (KO 2pm).
Strikers Ben Morris (pictured) and Shane McLoughlin are both in the party which travelled to West Yorkshire with the terms of their loans at Woking and Bromley respectively allowing them to continue playing for the U23s.
Midfielder Adam McDonnell and keeper Michael Crowe will also both be involved against the Terriers.
The teams previously met in the Premier League Cup with the Portman Road game ending in a 2-0 Huddersfield victory and the away match in a 1-1 draw.
The Blues U23s, who are coached by Gerard Nash, has lost just once in their last seven fixtures.
