Gaardsøe on Way Back - Ipswich Town News

Danish central defender Thomas Gaardsøe is on his way back after suffering a foot injury in the reserve game at Arsenal two weeks ago but will not be involved for the reserves tomorrow.

Gaardsøe is yet to train but it is hoped he will return to action later this week.

Pablo Couñago picked up a minor back problem during yesterday's reserve game but is likely to be involved in tomorrow's reserve title clincher against Derby.

Wayne Brown also went off with a knock to the top of his leg but it isn't thought to be too serious.

Town are opening both the Greene King and Cobbold Stands for tomorrow's reserve game where the Blues need just one point to take the title ahead of tomorrow's opponents Derby, and Arsenal.

Adults can attend for just £1 while children with an adult can enter for free. Season ticket golders as usual will also gain free entry.
