Town boss has confirmed midfielder Cole Skuse will be back for Friday evening’s game at Burton Albion having missed the last two matches after suffering a concussion in the 1-1 home draw with Birmingham.
"Cole is back, he’s all right, he’s fine,” manager Mick McCarthy said. "It’s nice to have him back, I spoke about him at the last press conference about how important he’s been over the last four years and that’s not been lessened by any stretch. It’s still lovely to have him back fit.”
Aside from that, McCarthy says he has no new injury problems: "They’re all OK, we had 21 bodies out today. We had a full squad.”
Adam Webster, Luke Hyam (both ankle), Steven Taylor (hamstring), Giles Coke (knee) and Jonas Knudsen (shoulder) remain sidelined.
Reflecting on the games against the Brewers and then Newcastle United at home on Monday, he added: "It’s going to be tough, it’s going to be a tough ask, Easter always is when the games come thick and fast.
"That was why so many of them played in the U23s game, Teddy Bishop, Doz, Danny Rowe, Dominic Samuel, Kieffer Moore, Josh Emmanuel, Diggers.
"We had a strong team out there and that was just to get them 90 minutes so if they need to be called upon they’re ready.”
