Finidi World Cup Boost - Ipswich Town News
Finidi George has received a boost to his flagging World Cup hopes with Nigeria manager Adegboye Onigbinde likely to include some of the out-of-favour players in their remaining friendlies.
Finidi, Sunday Oliseh, Taribo West and others, have all been left out of Onigbinde's squads up to now, but Nigerian Football Association Secretary General Taiwo Ogunjobi says the coach may still invite them to play in the remaining friendlies, including one against Ireland in Dublin.
Ogunjobi said: "The coach has said that his camp is still open. Those who have not had the opportunity to play in the friendlies may be given a chance to prove their mettle in subsequent friendlies."
