McCarthy Makes Nine Changes at Rotherham - Ipswich Town News

Town boss Mick McCarthy has made nine changes for this afternoon’s dead rubber at Rotherham with only skipper Luke Chambers and left-back Myles Kenlock remaining from the team which beat Newcastle United on Monday.

Dean Gerken returns in goal with Tommy Smith partnering Chambers at the centre of the defence and Josh Emmanuel at right-back.

In midfield, either Teddy Bishop or Andre Dozzell will join Toumani Diagouraga in central midfield with the other on the right, while Danny Rowe (pictured) makes his full Town debut on the left.

Up front, on-loan Reading man Dominic Samuel makes his full debut for the Blues up front with Brett Pitman.

Former Town keeper Lewis Price is on the bench for the Millers, while defender Semi Ajayi, who had a trial with the Blues in 2015, starts.

Rotherham: O’Donnell, Fisher, Ajayi, Wood, Mattock, Adeyemi, Smallwood, Vaulks, Taylor, Morris, Ward. Subs: Price, Forde, Clarke-Harris, Newell, Belaid, Bray, Purrington.
