New Boss for Finidi? - Ipswich Town News
Finidi George's World Cup hopes have received another boost with a reports from Germany that Bayer Leverkusen manager Klaus Toppmoeller has received an offer to take control of Nigeria at the World Cup.
Finidi has been out of favour under current boss Adegboye Onigbinde and a change of management could be to his advantage.
Toppmoeller confirmed the offer but thinks it may be difficult for him to fit in, although he doesn't completely rule it out: "It's true and I haven't booked a holiday yet.
"But it would be difficult to take on this task because we (Bayer Leverkusen) will be playing until May 15th. But I will talk with the gentlemen from the Nigerian Football Association again."
