Far-Flung Fans Meeting Up for Final Game at Forest - Ipswich Town News

With Sunday’s final game of the season at Nottingham Forest being shown live on TV in the UK and abroad, Town fans across the country and around the globe will be meeting up in pubs and bars to cheer the Blues on as they look to end a disappointing season on a high note (Sky Sports Three, from 11.30am, kick-off midday).

If you’re watching Sunday’s match - which could see the Blues help the home side into League One - at a pub or bar in some far-flung part of the nation or world, post it below. Please do not post links to illegal streams here or on the forum.

Overseas fans will get the chance to see Town a regular basis next season with the EFL providing live streams of every non-televised game from the start of 2017/18. Full access to the service, called iFollow, will cost £110.

EFL chief executive Shaun Harvey said: ”The new iFollow platform represents a potentially significant new revenue stream for clubs, while enabling enhanced engagement with existing fans now living abroad.

"iFollow will also present the EFL with an important opportunity to stimulate the interest of new groups of supporters who follow our clubs overseas, which in turn will help support the growth of our competitions on the international stage."

Meanwhile, a list of UK pubs showing Sunday’s game can be found here.
