Skipper Chambers Signs New Deal - Ipswich Town News
Town have announced that skipper Luke Chambers has signed a new two-year deal.
The Blues had already confirmed their intention to exercise the one-year option in the 31-year-old’s previous contract.
"I never envisaged leaving and I'm pleased to get things sorted now. I'm looking forward to the future now," the central defender or right-back told Ipswich Player HD.
Chambers putting pen to paper on a new deal ends months of speculation regarding his future, his former club Nottingham Forest - who the Blues meet in Sunday's final day game at the City Ground - having made a move for him on the final day of the January transfer window.
