Magilton on Fine Future - Ipswich Town News
Jim Magilton says Town have the youngsters to give the club a great future. The Northern Irish international played alongside many of them in Wednesday night's reserve side which clinched the league title with a win against Derby.
"The likes of Darren Bent, Darren Ambrose, Ian Westlake, Matt Richards and Matt Bloomfield have taken the step up from Academy to the reserves in their stride", he told the club site.
"The two Darrens have pushed on to play first-team football and I'm sure they will be looking to be part of the senior side next season.
"They won't be the only ones either, there will be a few of the other lads coming through as well."
