Town to Face Charlton in Pre-Season - Ipswich Town News
Town have announced a pre-season friendly against League One Charlton at the Valley on Saturday 29th July (KO 3pm).
The game is the second friendly to be confirmed with Drogheda United having revealed earlier in the week that this summer’s Ireland-based friendly will take place at United Park on Saturday 8th July (KO 2pm).
Manager Mick McCarthy has said the Blues will also be playing fixtures against Colchester and Southend with the dates yet to be confirmed. Town expect to announce details of further friendlies in the next few days.
Town played a friendly at Charlton last summer with the game ending in a 0-0 draw.
